    I guess Peter Jackson isnt burnt out making huge budget movies just yet, his next film will be a remake of King Kong which he will be shooting completly in New Zealand.

    I remember him talking about a King Kong remake 5-6 years ago before the LOTR detour ;)

    Seriously though, you see this man on the TV bumbling about in his shorts and sandals seemingly without a care in the world. Completely unfazed by it all. And then you think.. 'wait a second... this calm looking kiwi b*stard is responsible for Lord of the Freakin' Rings! ...but look at this guy! He's no Spielberg that one... man... I could be this guy!'

    ...could you though? really? No. You probably couldn't.

    Shine on Peter Jackson. Shine on.

    He hasn't said he won't make it, but he did say (understandably) that he's taking a break from the Rings for a while after RotK.

    I'd say it's a fair bet it'll be made at some stage.

    Considering the amount of complaining I hear about how he changed the book, I'm fairly sure that The Hobbit would be the one that gets him shot.
