    anyone know of any good network games that can be run under win2k without having to have admin privilages?

    Do you need to have Admin 'privileges'?
    As long as you can install it, surely you don't need admin rights?

    I figured you'd only need admin rights if the install needed to modify a system file, e.g. install a new display driver, or a later version of DirextX or something simillar...

    no pretty much every new game needs to add to some system directory or store things in the registry or something that needs admin privilages...

    at college. ..and the admins are depressed looking and far from friendly.
