Is there anyone out there that believes Ireland can win against England this week.
I play Rugby and have to say that England looked frightening last weekend, and if Ireland play half as well as they did against Wales we will be looky to loose by 12 pts..
But still I believe in God and I know he is Irish
    So Come On Ireland....

its goin to be tough but considering england seem to bottle it on the big occasions outside of twickenham anything is possible, its a pity o'gara didnt get picked, humphries is a decent player but kicks out of hand a bit much for my liking and against eng you dont want to give their back 3 any exuse to have a run at you...while i am on the subject does anyone know where in paris is the best place to watch the game?..

Oh I wouldn't feel too bad about it ferdi.

Just think of poor Martin Johnston! All the grands slams in the world will never make up for being the most inbred-looking human-being to set foot on planet Earth. Man that guy is weird looking ... and I've been to Cork!

    Sack the coach! :D

Nah, England were a class apart when they needed to be. Way to much slow recyling and static ball from Ireland.

    Mike.

I think England highlighted today why they are the best team in the world, we were out classed today.

I think Ireland are improving but we've a long way to go to catch up with the likes of New Zeland, Australia and England.

i would agree with you,, give it to the boys out there to day they gave it everything they got and a bit more,,, but it just was not going to be there day,,, the english wanted this and really nothing was going to stop them

the pack really surprised me they really played well however as u said the english are the best team in the world and the were unrelentless in there pressure

maybe you could say that if we had wood and reggie coragan we might have done better but sure thats just speculation

anyway i think that ireland played with real heart and pride and even though they didnt win ill take my hat of to them:cool:

if we'd only got something from all that pressure at the end of the first half it could have been a different game :(

There was Lens. I think that has to have been one of the worst days in in Irish rugby. A lot of it may have been down to the build up but even so. At least this time around we all know that Argentina are a force to be reckoned with, especially away from Ireland's premier 100 meter outdoor swimming pool
