I think I may have posted this a long time ago here but i'm actively looking for bands again.

    Lead (If covers)
    Rythme (All music)
Vocals or backing Vocals (depends what you're looking for)

If there are any musicians out there looking to start up a band or who know of any bands looking for a guitarist and/or vocalist can you please reply here.

I'm in Derry but am willing to travel through the North if needed.

Would prefer to do original music (and I do write my own music as well) but quite happy to do cover music as well.

Plenty of experience so can you gimme a shout here if you're interested or if you know anyone interested.

**BTW Admins I didn't post in the music section as i'm only looking for Bands in the North - I don't mind traveling to dublin etc for gigs but not for band practice :P **

as far as i know, nearly everyone that posts here plays some instrument or another, whether it be bass, guitar or drums......might be harder to find someone who actually wants to be in a band with sumone from derry tho.....

Influences? Pretty much a case of 'name it'.

Fav 3 bands - Prodigy Metallica and Radiohead.

Most of the stuff i've played before has been between 70's rock, 90's grung mixed with some brit rock and i've tried to get as much radiohead played as I can.

I love the foo's, loved nirvana when they first came out. The first music I learnt when I picked up a guitar was seattle grung the likes of nirvana, green day etc. Then started playing Metallica for the riffs and solos, and moved on to the Clapton slow hand tecnique. I could really talk all day about what I play.

To be honest i'll play anything at this stage because i've let myself like so many different styles. The only thing I would have a problem with would be country. I don't want to get stuck in a band that only plays country music.

If you're really interested then give me a shout - click on my name in my footer and send me a mail.

And sterile fish - I really hope that was meant in humour because I don't like retarded mentailities.

Sorry if I took it the wrong way but you must remember - posting on boards is generally cold and emotionless. That's why we have the emoticons to point out, if we're being sarcastic it shows etc.

    Notice -> :p or ;) or even :) or :D

    Trust me it helps :D

i know what emoticons are about, i just didnt think i needed them in this case becuase most of the people on this forum know me, and know where i got to school, and therefore know i got no problem with derry people
