Holidaying in Japan

    Currently looking for something to do with my summer holiday and I'm giving consideration to Japan. I've priced flights at roughly €850 return in August with USIT.

    Anyway, has anybody got any recommendations, suggestions or any other information regarding places to stay/visit, accomodation and pricing on things like food, drink and public transport, and if so, could they please post here.

    It'd be a small group going for roughly a week to ten days, and we'd be interested in taking in city-life, but also the spiritual side of Japan. And to do so as cheaply as possible, natch.

    Lex went to Japan more than once I think. So has MiCr0, they would be helpful if yea could get them tell you about the place. One thing Lex told me was that there was nice ladies over there :)
