Fax Problem.

i have a fax machine connected to a splitter on which there is a cordless phone and then on the other socket is the normal phone. Lately every time a mobile call comes through the fax machine kicks in with its beeps and you can hardly hear the other person. its doesnt happen on normal calls just mobile ones. The fax aslo…

The fax aslo doesnt answer fax calls.

i have call answering.

Any ideas its a brother fax.

The main line in to the house is split in two before it reaches a phone socket.

i use the main socket for the internet.

The fax has now been switched off until i figure out the problem,
it sends messages with no problems.
