I checked aertel last night to see what was on.......

it told me that 'The colour of Money' was on at 23.30 on UTV. I got all exceited about it, then, when 23.30 came along i switched to UTV and got 'the club' . well annoyed!

Same happened last thursday as well. I checked aertel and it said 'now and again' was gonna be on at 01.00. I flicked across and some 'primetime-esque' show was starting. GOD! It makes me so mad.

Who cares.. get sky digital and get with the times.. nice EPG on there. If you really want to know whats on UTV then use their own text.
Has it not occurred to you that UTV supplied the wring info to RTE? Or it changed at the last moment??

There is a war on, you know... Schedules are all over the place, so I wouldnt blame Aertel if UTV changed their programming at the last minute....

Aertel runs off the same TV schedule as teh RTE Guide and they also advertised "The Colour Of Money" last night afaik. Aertel never change their TV schedules during the week and as an interactive Guide they should have the cop on to advertise changes in the schedule as the RTE Guide is only printed once in the week.

As for the sports section on Aertel they really do suck in every way possible especially when it comes to latest scores - brutal. Even TV3 have a better sports section than Aertel.

According to RTE Guide they are showing rugby at 3 on Net 2 ( this saturday) and Snooker / 999 Emergency around 3 on RTE 1 (this Saturday)

but this link says they are showing the Ireland Euro Qualifiers
    at 3 on RTE http://www.rte.ie/sport/2003/0326/soccer/euro.html

I wish they'd update the web pages at least

( I'm assuming they'll relegate the Snooker for the Soccer )

Digiguide is a handy program for your computer. You can get up-to-date schedules off the net.

RTE is a shambles... It;s nigh on bankrupt and are spending all the money on new buildings! So Aertel is at the bottom of the priority list

It will be interesting to see how the RTE digital text service will be like whenever it is launched on Sky Digital, though it will have the same stuff on both Aertel and the digitext offering as both will use same software somehow....

It has to be said that TV3's "threetext" has improved dramatically since it first started (when all it showed was TV listings!) :)

They've relegated the rugby match for the soccer.

an Irish international soccer match gets higher priority than Scotland v Italy in rugby and rightly so IMO. they showed highlights afterwards plus it was live on BBC1
