If you can read phonetics, it's pronounced [v€j]*, but if not you can get away with pronouncing it 'vay-ee', but don't drag out the 'ee' (i.e. short and quick).

*Where the € is the nearest way I can get of representing the epsilon (Greek letter - looks like backwards '3').
