Is it just me or was Mr Benn some weird perv who got his kicks out of trying on cheap village people outfits while having psychotic fantasies? I mean look at him for god's sake, he wears work clothes yet not once do you see him actually go into work or do anything other than visit this clothes shop. I'd say at this stage the poor shop owner is quite possibly demented and dreads every visit Mr Benn makes to his fine establishment.

Mr Benn was a legend. End of story. What mattered was that he scived off work to go and hide in some shop for the afternoon so noone would see him. Trying on clothes came secondary to that.

I remember Mr.Benn, shifty fellow if you ask me what he done was this. Walk into a shop try on some clothes for fun and then to top it all off get stoned in the changing room without ever buying a single costume. Then he would conveniatly find a "souvenir" from his "travels". The shop owner should have barred him from the first time he layed eyes him.:D

Is it just me or did he have the coolest walk ever? He'd just kind of float along expending minimal energy meaning he had plenty of strenght for his goofed up journeying.

I reckon Mr Benn and the shopkeeper were into some inter-dimentional smuggling ring - costumes were just the crazy cover up. but what were they smuggling ?
