First Venture into Bluetooth

I just got my hands on a Compaq ipaq, an Xircom credit card bluetooth PCMCIA card and I want to link them up with my Nokia 6310.

I have used the card and the phone with my laptop, not a problem. When I instert the card into the Ipaq (with the PC card expansion slot) it recognises the card, but I can't do much else. I would imagine there should be some sort of software which allows the management of connections between the phone and the ipaq, but neither the Xircom website (now Intel) nor Compaq (now HP) has anything. Goolge returned much the same.

Anybody know if the bluetooth card is compatible with the Ipaq (it's a 3660, btw)? If so, anybody know where I could get drivers for it?

    Thanks,

    TD.

unfortunatley Xircom (Intel) only seem to provide drivers for the Windows Desktop OSs - never saw any Pocket PC drivers/application for the card - so without the Vendors support I dont' know how far you could get

someone may have hacked drivers that worked with another CSR based card - haven't come across any though

you may bave a better experience with a CF card + Expansion Jacket or CF Expansion Jacket with built in Bluetooth (e.g. from Compaq/HP or TDK) - would be less bulky for a start!
