Can people make suggestions as to what should be on this board?

Obviously it should deal with things like information on various forms of transport, including alternative forms (no not pogo sticks ;)). It should deal with the emerging transport structures in Dublin (DTO, Director of Traffic) and lobbying organisations.

While Dublin is home to many Boardsters and it suffers the worst congestion and other commuting issue, I don't think it should be an exclusively Dublin orientated board.

Bus, train, taxis, car commuting (there is a separate motors board).

Air, airport and sea / ferry services are also an option to include.

We should be aware that some posters will be over zealous about their preferred means of transport, but that this should be balanced.

    Add: walking.

Exclude: anything exclusive to the Motors board.

Exclude: travel items outside Ireland (Travel / Holidays board)

Optional: items suited to regional boards

Include: Transport community announcements (subject to boards.ie advertising rules), general discussion (serious and not so serious), relevant humour.

Exclude: abusive rants. General discussion on wider society at the periphery of transport issues that are more suited elsewhere (politics, humanites, college, etc).

consider: posting headline and link to article instead of both plus whole article text, and maybe some viewpoint or discussion about the article
