T68i vs. Sharp GX-1

I can't make up my mind on whether to buy a SonyEricsson T68i or the Sharp GX-1 (the o2 one (not the flip) ).

Whereas the T68i is small and looks good, the sharp is big but has a better screen and is cheaper.

Is it possible to get a cable to link the sharp to your PC to transfer pictures?

    What would you get?

    Hi Tony,

    Here's Sharp's Irish site for the GX1 and GX10:
    http://www.sharp-mobile.com/europe/il/index.asp

I've not spent much time with a GX1 but in the site FAQ says:

    Q. I want to transfer my saved pictures to my PC.

    A. Pictures can be sent to an e-mail address via the Network Operators GPRS service. This is unavailable via IR port or data cable

If a camera was an important feature, you would need to buy a seperate clip on camera for the T68i if you wanted to take pictures though, and the screen would be a limitation size and colours (256 on T68i vs. 65,536 on the GX-1)

however the T68i does have size on it's side and a built in email client - bluetooth and ir and a cable option - syncs with Outlook (2000+) on PC and with iSync on the Mac - also has optional radio and mp3 attachements - it's my current personal phone of choice :)

be aware that the T68(i) is over a year old though so it is up for replacement with the T610 (hopefully in the not too distant future) and that is a lovely phone

    hope that's some help

Thanks Brian G. I think I'll go for the T68i, its just the screen is that is putting me off.
