Can people post up sites that give reasonable travel insurance quotes?
The best I have found so far is getcover.com, very close to this is aaireland.ie and the travel insurance you get through ryanair.com is not too far behind ... but trying to find other cheap ones is torture ... some of them are farcical
Anyone know of anything to watch out for?, any small print that is a nice handy loophole for the insurance companys?

What’s important is if you are sick / injured (look for at least €1,000,000) or arrested (at least €10,000), most policies cover these. Remember nearly dieing is a lot more expensive than dieing. Also make sure it covers cancellations, missed connections and loss of property. In the current climate, make sure terrorism and war are properly considered.

Watch out for restrictions on adventure sports and the likes. Most such insurance is zoned, depending on what countries you visit. North American insurance is the most expensive. Note "excess" figures (the amount you have to pay before the insurance company will pay).

The banks do annual policies for €100-200.
