    Elektra artists stay at home
Andrew Purcell Elektra Records have become the first label to suspend all international touring plans due to the impending war in the Gulf.

They've released a statement saying the safety of bands and crew must take priority.

Other record companies are expected to follow suit later this week. The first band affected are Blindside, who were due to be play eight gigs in Britain and Germany later this month.
