Just some questions regarding Narrowband connections and DSL:

Esat Netsmart - is there a contract, ie: 12 months or 3 months or what?

    UTV - same thing

Esat Broadband - 512K, is there a contract, if so how long?

Is there a "limit" on transfers?

Not sure about Netsmart or UTVip, although you do have to change your telecoms provider to whichever one you subscribe to. As for ESAT ADSL, the 'affordable' one that is, it will be around €55 p/m inc VAT, there is a 12 month contract (which is standard among broadband suppliers). As for their current 512k offering, it costs around €107 and I think it has a 4 gig 'download allowance'. It also has a 1 year contract.

UTVip has a 3 month minimum stay. Don't know about Esat. Broadband has 1 year contracts and the way I see it is they keep you for a year knowing their product is overpriced and that eventually someone will release a cheaper one but you won't be able to leave.
