A mate of mine currently has a year old philips cd recording seperate unit and wants a new one. Can anyone suggest one that he should get. He needs to be able to add track markings to the cd during playback as he dj's and is not able to do this during recording (main reason for changing). I also suggested that he look for one whish has a harddrive where he could record all his mixing/music on to the harddrive and copy it to cd later, but im not sure if these are availible. Basically if anyone out there has one of these or knows one of these that are suitable for this purpose could they give me the names and models of the units.
I can find out more info if its needed later. Cheers.

If your looking for a CD/HD recorder the Yamaha CDRHD1300 is one of the best you can buy. Top class according to reviews. Can be bought here for £479.95 stg.

If he decides to go for just a CD record deck I would recommend the SONY RCDW3 or the PIONEER PDR609 which can both be picked up at the above site for approx £200stg.

I'm afraid your gonna pay loads for a HD recorder.

Whathifi had a review on recorders this month. They said if you can afford it go for the Yamaha. If not go for the Sony.
