I have a couple of questions, I hope some of you fine people can give me an answer
Can someone tell me why the 6510 has a polyphonic tune when the phone is turned on, but all the ringtones are normal ones? ....is there a way to enable polyphonic ringtones on it?

    Another completely different question is:
I got the unlock codes for my phone and when I typed them in (#pw+code+code number#), I got a message:
Cannot undo re-striction (little flashing stop)

Does that mean my phone is already unlocked? .. or does it mean that the codes are no good?

:o er .. the polyphonic ringtone at startup is coming from the normal speaker that you hear people on...as opposed to the ringing "speaker" ...

Still dont know about the unlock codes though

yup - that 'nokia jingle' is on the start-up of most of their more modern phones 6310, 8310... just a tune saved in the software (firmware) - so no polyphonic update to be had

can't answer your unlocking query - you could get a mate's SIM from another network and slot it in to find out if it's unlocked already - it sometimes happens that a phone sold by the operators (new contract or upgrade) hasn't been locked before they get into the sales channel
