Drug test

Can the principle of your secondary school force you to take a drugs test. and if the results are positive can he expell you even if you used drugs outside school. Thanks.

in this case you would need to check the code of practise of the school book.
I am not sure of the enforcement of the rules but i am almost certain that they can request a sample, which would lead to that they can act on the results of the test.

No. But your parents may be able to, at the suggestion of the school. It's possible that a school could also make it a policy to drug test every so often, and they can force you then (of course they'd have to test every student in the school, or use random testing, but I couldn't see anyone tolerating that).

Yep. You could certainly try and fight it, but he could use many excuses to protect himself, such as you are tainting the image of the school, or taking part in destructive, anti-social and illegal behaviour.
Chances are though, if the school found out that you did, they'd discuss it with your parents instead of just fecking you out.

If you get caught with/using/discuss the sale of drugs in school then they'd probably expel you.

I knew a guy this happened to.Him and his friend were going mitching from school every single day,drinking and smoking hash.Eventually they stopped doing it after the sh1t really hit the fan but they kept up smoking hash.So the deputy principal rang boy x mother and told her to get the son tested but not to tell him until they arrived at the hospital.But he also rang boy y parents and told them boy x was having the test.Y tells X he is going to have a test that afternoon,which is bad news as he has just smoked a spliff that morning.So he pays another clean guy to piss into a bottle,takes it to hospital,is left alone to fill the cup and fills it with the other dudes piss.Problem solved!
I would think the principal could force you to get tested if he thought you were using in school.

No they cant test you, but some schools were trying to bring it in.
I think 1 school in the country does it. I read an article on it a while ago.

That happened to a guy in my school. The school wanted him to take a test, but he threatened to sue them. Not sure how it turned out, but I think it was dropped.

Regardless of the legality of forcing you to take a test, for any kind of test or search to be conducted on a minor, the parent's permission is required.

happenned to me once, but the principal fooled my parents into it by telling them that i was lacking energy and that i should get a blood test to see if i needed vitamin pills or some such ****.

im pretty sure you dont have to tell anyone the results of a test to anyone, what with doctor patient confidentiality, but its a bit of a grey area

oh btw, 2yrs on and i still havent seen any results for ages i was scared to go into the docs office and hacked my way through a fairly serious chest infection by pretending it wasnt all that bad

I know its not school but:
Everyone who works for the company that I am in (~1200 people) had to get a drug test a few years back, I know that a few boyo's pulled the old mates piss in a bottle routine but there were definitely a few eejits (er. .. not me) who were smoking the night before the drug test .. nothing was ever mentioned to them

Private schools can do as they like and more tests in Private schools like the one which took place in St.Andrews are expected afaik, little bro is in one and they have been warned that they may get one.

a friend of mine had to recently take a test, his parents bought one of those home test piss tests and he tested positive for valuum hash and smack. he smokes a lot of hash but the other two just appeared out of no-where, he may of bought a score laced with something but it couldn't have been enough to show up in a drugs test. So my advice is, if you have to do one, get a home kit and hope the results are all messed up like my friends.
