    Where is IP v6 now .. I have heard its used by the backbone of d'internet ... when will eircom be converting from IP v4 (or any other ISP) ... and will my windaz 2k machines need to be upgraded..?

    It won't be converting to IPv6 any time soon I'm afraid.
    Won't need to upgrade windows 2000 machines any time soon either. IPv6 and IPv4 coexist peacefully.

    Eircom have an anycast 6to4 Relay to the 6BONE. Windows XP, Mac OS X, *BSD & Linux can all access to 6BONE this way. Use Google for more info.
