If your into that you can google "guitar War" which you have to pay for OR /j #guitar on quakenet
The guys from #guitar are organising their own FREE guitar war type stuff starting soon, First they are going to pick about 3 standard pieces from different styles you pick 1 record yourself playing it and up-load it

Then u get a rating, next is is actual guitar war where u go head to head against another player and ppl vote, giving each song a rating, your rating changes based on your scores...
There trying to get a sponsor for a prize for song of the month.

Its a big ego trip thing more than getting your music out there but its fun.
It still needs a load of sorting out over how they pick who goes against each other, stuuf like styles, setup and so on to try and make things fair.

    Bla Bla Bla Bla,

I'd record more stuff but its an arse to find time when no one else is in the house. Plus my setup has much to be desired.

Any one got any names of good programs for recording your stuff?

Thanks, yeah "the Number something" is a decent enough little pop/punk tune. it didnt turn out the way we had hoped to be honest it was mixed very poppy and we are far from that in reality. The songs actually about the Gardai Clashes with protestors a while back, where the Gards took off their number badges ala "The number something" :) all out tunes are about something, no crappy lyrics about nothing in particular. www.20bullseach.com

    thanks
