Guitarist/Singer-To Start Punk band

    Hey.
    I sing, play guitar and am looking to start a punk rock band in Dublin with a guitarist, bassist and drummer.Here's what I like:

    NOFX, Pennywise, Rancid, Nirvana, Distillers, No Use For A Name, Lagwagon, Less Than Jake, Offspring, Thoria and Avril, "Who are the sex pistols?" , Lavigne.

    If you like those (last one being optional) and want to get together to jam or whatever.Post here or PM me.

    What kind of stuff do you do?I'm lookin for speed combined with power and timing.

    Pennywise blast beats are also VERY nice :)

    bass.
    in the band i'm in at the mo i'm actually just lead singer (rock type of stuff).
    and i'm not much of a genius on the oulde bass but i can pennywise, nofx,nirvana, green day, offspring etc - rancid would be asking a bit much at the moment, matt freeman is so so quick but given time i could manange.

    Surely there is eomeone in Dublin who is into those bands and has alwas had in the back of their mind that they could reach the same standards as the bands in question.......

    Instead of posting new thread, I thought I'd try and resurrect this one.

    I really want to start a punkrock band. I don't care who you are, what you look like, or if you actually like Avril. I just need a drummer and a bass player who can play soime stuff from the bands mentioned in the first post.

    Thanks for the link :). Thing is I can play drums (out of practise atm) for all those bands anyway, but I'm not plannin on startin a one man band just yet :P

    Heylo,
    Im a bassist, been playing around 6 years or so. My last band split up a while ago, and im lookin to start playing again. Im a tad rusty cause i havent been in a studio in a while but if yer interested let me know. Ive listened to a fair bit of punk over the years, mainly subhumans, sex pistols, dead kennedys, and..even tho theyre pop punk, green day.
