    Next time lets get one where we get XP for killing monsters... there is nothing worse than killing a hard enemy when we get nothing out of it. If they had cool stuff to loot then it would ofset it but usually they dont in Dreamcatcher!

    I would suggest we all meet up about 8:15 on the portal server. To be sure that we dont run into cut scene problems again (though there was a lack of cut scenes last session).

    As for new campaign, how about the list I sent via PM :)

    classic PnP scenarios, loosely linked - if at all - would guarantee variety but doesnt have an overall "feel". Also, balance of items could be an issue. And finally, the last one on the list requires a DM to run properly (I'd volunteer for that job as I have already Dm'ed that scenario in a PnP game and seemingly this is a quite close copy).


    By the way, what is that scenario on the server at the moment. My 14th level fighter got the snot kicked out of him by some doggy woman cleric and a fight with two werewolves and two shadow hounds was a very close run thing. It's a bit on the tough side (I pity poor saruman who is low level :) ).

    ps. Terford campaign is almost up and running. A bit vanilla but I'm getting around to sounds and lighting and adding in quest stuff now. I'm slowly getting around to a few scripts (basic stuff at best). Hopefully I can use you lot as guinea pigs when it's done :)

    Err I seem to have lost those, I want a bit made cleaning down my pm folder.

    on a side note if u want to run your campaign on games2 give me a shout. Might be worth leaving it run for a while to get the bugs out. If u want I can create a forum for u on the darkkeep site or maybe devore or regi would do one here. Just so ppl can put there comments together.

    I think i got to level 9 last week... woohoo.. but i have some nice spells to help offset my weakness... obviously im useless in a melee at the moment so until i get tensers transformation i have to stay back and fire magic.. usually is no probs except against some creatures i have come across that are imune!! Anyway i think they are umune becuase they cast spells to protect them... when i went up a level i picked minor spell breach so i should be able to break through them.. will also help you fighters as they wont be impossible to hit! Also Ice storm has been added so if we come across any dragons then i will kick some ass. I ALSO now have the quicken feature so i can cast some of my spells without casting.. in other words straight away. Im not high enough to cast quicken Magic missile even yet so this wont help me just yet. Though empowered is working well doing more damage than ordinary spells. Oh and for my protection i have minor globe of invulnerability now... So hopefully that will help me.. if needs be i can always go invisible... hmm... note to self.. see if i can cast quicken invisibility...

    we've had nordock on the normal server (as in the one up during the week). People didn't really seem to like it as it took ages to get anywhere and then you got killed and had to get there again.


    Ravenloft was up as well and was the source for much levelling of non campaing characters.

    Having a look at the foreboding in sylvani readme file now :)

    I think rev is looking more for a campaign module for the monday/wednesday sessions.

    PS. any word from Mantel and Jayk? Haven't seem them online in quite a while now.

    Hopefully Lomir will join in the new campaign. And I'll try to peer pressure Draco to stay on late at work and have a go.

    that sylvani one is an exe install. IIRC, the server is not too fond of exe installation programs.

    The ravenloft one looks good, i just stuck it on here beside me (in work) and it looks interesting... have not done any quests im just taking a look around the beginning.. the other

    Cant run sylvani as it needs 1.28 and in work im only 1.27

    As for those exe files.. you realise they are just zipped files in exe format right? Just open them with winrar and extract the file. Should be server friendly then.

    How much space on boards webspace? i can always upload it there as a zip file.
