    Two cars, same make/model, both 1998.

    Car 1: Is for sale from a dealer, has 75K miles, with a full manufacturers service history.

    Car 2: Has only 40K miles, without service history, owner said he services it himself. Costs €1000 more than Car 1.


    You choose....

    That's a hard one without knowing the make and model i would go with the car with the service history, the car with no history is more likely clocked as the mileage is a bit low for a 98 I would buy car 1 and with the money left over if any get it a bloody good service.
