Do you think Mac gaming will be as big as Pc gaming ?
I really want an Apple Mac but the only thing keeping me from getting one, do you think games will play a bigger role with OSX in the future?

Personally no. The reason I say that is that even the PC market is suffering as many titles and developers are going to the consoles market instead of the PC, simply because the console market especially the PS2 one is much bigger then the PC one so they make more money there.

As the Mac OS X market is fraction of the size of the PC market then they make even less on it, so I don't see it any huge improvement on the way for the Mac/OS X market. It will remain a lot smaller and behind all the other gaming markets.

You will some of the bigger titles on OS X, but the choice will be limited and you'll only get the mainstream titles. Its been that way for years.

Another point to make is that its a lot cheaper to build a highend gaming PC then a highend gaming Mac. PC Pilot has an article on Airplane simulations on the Mac this month if you want to check it out. Kinda says it all.

In short I wouldn't buy a Mac if gaming was your priority.

Is there a demo available? Doesn't appear to be one on their site - although they do have one for 'Player Manager' (CM clone from the looks of things)
