    17" @ 1280x1024.
Just can't handle 1280x960 - it looks too wierd.

17" - but if I'd more space (and a bit more dough) I'd definitely upsize.

How you can sit back and read the screen without it hurting your eyes after a bit is beyond me.

    btw, what refresh rate?

Laptop has a 15.4 screen (must have been well above average three years ago when I got it). Probably still doesn't fit into the "medium" category above.
    and runs it a 800x600@60hz
His eyes are still working? EVen 85Hz on a CRT seems to give me eye pains after a few hours.

it was 1280x1024 @ 85Hz so i updated my graphics card drivers and WOOHOO!!! 1600x1200 @ 85Hz. it was weird to look at at first but your eyes adjust after a short while. its strange how quick you become accustomed to the extra space. i couldn't change back now, it'd f*ck with my head!! :)

btw, the monitor is a Dell ultrascan P991. great monitor :D

    17 Inch desktop @1280 X 1024

I'd love a massive 21" Triniton but I'm a student and have **** loads of expenses already.
