I'm in America at the moment and it seems as good a place as any to start listening to something decent. Anyone suggest a few albums to get or even better a site that will be able to give me some advice on where to start? At the moment I've got a few Miles Davis albums which I really enjoyed and I'd love to find some more…

Might be helpful. A lot of the albums will have reviews, I dont know all that much about Blues myself. You'd probably have better luck if you posted in the Music/Radio board.
