How does spiderman see through that mask

How does tobey maguire see through that spiderman mask in the film? Always took it as one of those things in the cartoon show, but curious as to how it works in real life.

Well, theres probably small fine slits in the mask that he can see through. Kinda like when you can see through a cloth or t-shirt if its right next to your eyes but you can't see through it when its far away.

well the eyes of the suit are made out of two way mirror..spiderman can see out but no one can see in..thats the way it is in the comic anyways. a girl played the action (non CG) scenes..didnt know that..learn something new everyday.
