11:15, restate my assumptions: 1. Mathematics is the language of nature. 2. Everything around us can be represented and understood through numbers. 3. If you graph these numbers, patterns emerge. Therefore: There are patterns everywhere in nature.

    Oh yeah baby

I think its wrong! about two thirds of the way down the page there is a 2 that I'd swear should be a 3....

I remember renting pi looking for something to relax with. My god was i wrong. I fell asleep during and remember very little of it.

There is also a little app called super pi which is generally used to test how good your PC processor is, it calculates pi up to 2 million decimal places I think, but generally you 'only' set it to do it to 1 million.

If I remember correctly Pi is one sixth the sum of the recprorical of all squares ... - can anyone confirm that ?

Also anyone know eulers equation -
with all the basic mathematical concepts of 1,0 , pi ,e i and -ve in it ?

Ummm, don't know about Euler's eqn. but if you want something with all the mathematical concepts in it, just arse around with De Moivre to get

    e^(-i*Pi) - 1 = 0

    RC

P.S. Cool fraction, it's 0.0000084913678658370862584022 % off though, can't be havin' that now!

P.P.S. as the reciprocal of squares thing goes, perhaps a Maclaurin-Taylor expansion for a basic trig. function would give the desired result

    It's actually e^(i*pi)+1=0.
That is my welcome note on my phone.
    Yes I am a nerd.

true, very true. Surprised no-one noticed earlier!
