Tv Card no sound

    Got a tv card today installed fine on XP pro.
    But no sound have the audio out going to sound card but still no sound, line in isnt muted and still no sound.

    C Media 5.1 sound card and Lifeview PCI tv card.
    Got 2 lock ups and a memory dump since i installed it.

    I had the same problem but i needed to do it internally.
    I used a cd rom audio cable and it worked first time.

    Got the sound working barely its very low and crappy with an updated version of the software ,now to make it watchable.

    Using a cable from a sky digi box.

    Did you use the cd rom drive cable?
    Or is it still the external one?
