    A Few points...

    1. Freeview is a DIGITAL TERRESTIAL service, not a digitsl satellite service.

    2. It is available to those in the Republic provided that they can receive a sufficiently strong enough signal from a UK terrestial transmitter - and the only ones possible are either Divis, Brougher Mountain or Limavady in NI, or Preseli in Wales. Using the right digital terrestial to analogue decoder (average price around £99 or €159) can decode these channels.

    3. As it is licenced by the UK's ITC, it's licence applies to the UK, Isle of Man and the channel Islands only (those in the know will point out that it isn't availble yet in the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands but when transmitter improvements take place and/or frequency clearence is granted, it will come to those parts eventually). The ITC has no right to issue a licence for frequency spectrum outside of it's juristiction.

    4. STOP SPAMMING!
