I dont think we will ever see the other BBC channels on Sky in ROI because we dont pay the UK License fee. If they did appear (which would be nice), we would have to pay for the priviledge I'd think. It would be entirely up to sky to negotiate with BBC Worldwide for carriage of these channels, and that is only if BBC would allow the channels to be carried outside UK.

As far as your poll goes, i'm sure that everyone would like to see the remainder of the BBC channels appear on Sky but I wont hold my breath.

like irishbyte said, i don't think we will see them all but Sky as a channel provider should be doing their best to get the best channels onto it's service but they wouldn't want more competition for their own channels, surely not

Absolutely. Given Sky would rather see News 24 close down there is no way that they would ask for it to be added to the ROI EPG in the way that they apparently did with BBC ONE and TWO.

Ok, this thread has been well flagged/spammed.

thewiseowl, welcome to the ICDG boards. As you can see from the Campaign thread, this issue is on the slow burn at the moment.

But just a thing to not for a newbie. The other threads/cross posts you have posted have not be appreciated by others here. Any more spammy threads or posts like that will be dealt with a ban. Its happened before, it'll happen again.

Just don't let it happen again.
