    Just wondering...

I have an 8310 and my laptop.. what settings should i have on the phone so I can connect to the internet through my phone's GPRS, I know that I use a normal dial-up connection in windows with *99# as the number but I dont know what I should have in the phones settings... anyone any idea how I can get online with my phone and laptop?

    cheers in advance.

    C.

if you are on 087 network you can download 'vodafone connect me' from their website, it will let you establish GPRS, HSCSD and CSD connections

hi - i'm going to assume you are using windows....

(you may have to get Internet GPRS access set-up for your account by calling 1740)

if you have installed and are using the Nokia Modem Set-up go to the Nokia Modem Options in Control Panel - highlight the Nokia Modem you are using for the Dial-Up conenction (under Installed Nokia Modems). Under GPRS Dial-up, type in internet for the access point

in the Dial-Up connection properties under TCP/IP make sure you have entered the DNS IP addresses: 62.40.32.33 and 62.40.32.34

you can just use gprs for the username and password (may also work if left blank)
