Long weekend in Amsterdam

    right guys , heading off to Amsterdam for a long weekend . I know a few of you have been there before so what are the 'sights' and where should i stay relatively cheaply ie. 2/3 star hotel i spose. Haven't got a clue really as this has just been sprung upon me recently !

    So what's worth seeing ( nothing too boring please like art galleries ) want to try and cram everything into 3 days as i will probably not get a chance to go there again. And as stated any good pubs around , not too bothered about nightclubs just good clean drinking fun.Where should i stay so that i'm close to the action and can fall into the hotel without travelling too far :D
