The new phones in the 6000 series are the 6100, 6610 and the upcoming 6800 - although none of those have bluetooth :(

Haven't seen any reference to a new phone keeping the 6210/6310 form factor or base connector.

Nokia have taken a new step with ther new Pop-Port interface for future connectivity and it is used on each of the 6000 series phones mentioned above.

There is also a 6650, with WCDMA (3G), GSM Dual Band 900/1800, Video Capture, Bluetooth..... so in a league of it's own compared to the other 6000s ;)

There is a comparison tool on the nokia.com site if you want to take a look:

It seems that the 6310i is the last phone that will fit the CARK91 Car kit.

Apparently all phones to come from Nokia will now support the ''Pop-Port'' interface that is already on the Nokia 7210 and 6610. The advantage is that the Car Kit (besides the cradle) should be compatible with all Pop-Port phones.

The idea of the Pop-Port is that it can support a whole new range of multimedia accessories (i.e Camera)

It's the price you pay for technology I suppose.

    V10 :)
