Is there any script available that will convert a standard web format into a printable format of the same page

Can you expand a bit please.

Do you want to convert it to a PDF or something.

What's the reason you want to do this exactly?

Having a print stylesheet might be what you're looking for.

If you go to Hotscripts.com you will find quite a few scripts that do what you want. Basically you have to add a couple of tags to the page (usually) designating the start and finish of your text content, the script then strips the extra formatting out and sends a simple printer-friendly version to the browser.
