Is it just the solo adsl being reduced

    I see eircom are putting the figure of €45-Ex vat on their solo package which I premsume is still capped but was wondering is the Enhanced flavour (1mb) going to be reduced and will it still be cap-less

    Eircom aren't putting a price of €45exVAT on their Solo product. Their introducing a new RADSL product, using different technology, and a higher contention ratio than the existing i-Stream product. They may phase out the 512k i-Stream option to increase the "product differentiation" but that'll be a marketing decision - so there's no point trying to predict what they'll actually do. You'll just have to wait and see if they actually deliver the product that they've been making noises about, and what they do with the "old" i-Stream product at that point.
