I'm trying to find a source for an LCD monitor 14/15 inch, wall mountable that will take a 12 volt DC input, instead of the regular 240 volt. Does anyone know where I can find such a beast?

    thanks

A lot of, if not all, TFTs use a DC powerpack like a Laptop. My 19" Planar TFT uses something like 15v 2a. It shouldnt be too hard to find a smaller TFT with lower power requirements.

You will need to know 4 things when looking for a power supply

    1. The voltage (ie 15 volts DC, 9 volts ac etc)
    2. The polarity (if it's dc)
    3. The maximun current drawn by device (ie 500mil amps, 1Amp etc)
    4. The size and type of plug that goes into device
