    Antigone

This new presentation of Antigone, one of the most powerful and enduring dramas of all time, is both passionate and thoughtful. For ninety minutes the audience is invited to observe and experience the corrosive power of the Antigone story as it echoes up and down the ages. It tells the emotive tale of Antigone's defiance of her Uncle Creon's autocratic rule. Perhaps now, more than ever, this is a timely re-emergence of a classic piece for a modern audience. Antigone, adapted and directed by Conall Morrison and presented by the Storytellers Theatre Co, stars Donal Beecher, Bosco Hogan, Pauline Hutton (Antigone), Louis Lovett, Simon O'Gorman, Diane O'Keefe, Robert O'Mahony (Creon), Dylan Tighe and Helena Walsh.
