TV Overscan Support in OS X

My iBook comes with an ATI Radeon built in, whose chipset is capable of outputting video to an external display with overscan* enabled.

However Apple don't seem to have included this feature in OS X, which is quite annoying to say the least.

Just found an interesting discussion on this issue on apples website; anyone else who's frustrated with this problem should post:

*Svideo and Composite output defaults to underscan mode, which leaves awful black borders around the image; this is especially noticeable on TVs whilst watching DVDs or other video formats full screen. Overscan mode on the other hand, uses the entire area of the screen.
