anyone watch that programme that is on ITV as i type this. it is basically couples getting married and it is tonight live on television that the groom to be will say yes. it is cruel for

    a) putting someone in that kind of position and asking them to make a huge decision that will affect the rest of their life

    b) what if one of them says no. then the bride to be will be humiliated on live tv and the groom will be made out to be a complete asshole

i couldn't be arsed to watch it (Prime Time on RTÉ1 has more appeal to me) but there are 3 people watching it in another room

ya i heard ray d'arcy interviewin the producer of that show last week.

frankly, i think ppl are bigger idiots for goin on these kinda shows. that kinda thing is, in my opinion, meant for a church, not tv, because it can potentially tear two ppl apart, and thats never good. in this case we can really blame the women for any bad outcomes because its the men who dont have a clue whats gonna happen. as far as i know they've been tricked into going to the studio thinking it was for something else.

tv is getting very close to a brick wall. lets all hope the wall moves foward a bit and puts us out of our misery once and for all.

I'm inclined to say that those who go on shows like that deserve all they get, on the other hand the types who do put themselves foward are proberly too naive and stupid realise
    what they've signed up to.

OK maybe it's because I come from a cynical family (don't mention the lotto...) but I always thought shows like that were just made up, the people I mean. I thought they were just actors really...

Take ITV's blind date for example, to me, it's obvious that at least some of those people are just actors reciteing a script - which nearly always involves them slagging each other at every chance they get. My brother and sister would watch blind date, but I never would, just doesn't appeal to me, then never did Jerry Springer (no, not even for the 'funniness' of it  )

God, wasn't that show terrible!

The big question has to be:

Can ITV get any worse? :D

They'll sure give it a shot!

I dunno if its on ITV but there's a new programme called Re-Born in the USA comming, which will feature has-been pop stars touring the States in a bus and each week one act will get voted off.

I'm barely able to contain my excitment...:p
