I dont know if this has been mentioned yet, if so then feel free to delete... Guy that works across from me today was telling me about how eircom has cut the price of there dsl drastically, apparently the site hasnt been changed yet to reflect the new costs but the account manager(eircom) for our bank was telling us today…

Guy that works across from me today was telling me about how eircom has cut the price of there dsl drastically, apparently the site hasnt been changed yet to reflect the new costs but the account manager(eircom) for our bank was telling us today that the price of DSL is now going to be going at €45 per month.

Only problem being the cap is still gonna be there

Thought this may be of some intrest...

edit - this price is for 512/128 btw

Hard to believe that this is news to some

p.s. They have not yet agreed a wholesale price for the new residential DSL, but the price they are aiming for is €45 ex vat, which is about €54. The new cap will be 4gb it seems.
