Are there any people on this board that play the Munchkin card Game? (SJ Games)

We've finally thought up a decent custom card to suppliment our play.

Allows the wearer to either completely ignore any one card, or ignore specific words on any other card.

Just curious what custom cards others have come up with??

Hey that wasn't your Idea, that was John's he made loads of cards at Warps, and since he's the artist then there legal of a sort.

I never said it was and in fact never claimed it to be my idea what i did say or at least implied is that deep fried bullrog is a much better custom card and i agree it's perfectly leagal.
how many times have you seen cool custom cards and thouth that the'd be good in a game well?

Hi guys

By way of an introduction, I am Regional Director for Europe of the Men in Black - the volunteer marketing team of Steve Jacskon Games.

I only mention this as the European Munchkin Championships will be held at Gencon Uk in London in April. These cards aren't official, *unless* Steve Jackson signs them himself...which could, of course, be arranged for a fee.. ;-)

There's a group that meets in the Exchequer bar every Tuesday, and there's a game club being set up by 3rd Place Games (Crow St, Temple Bar) soon, at which Munchin is and will be played 8-)

How does the Deep Fried Bullrog Card work then? What does it do?

Well It goes like this:
John was at Warpcon signing things and havingfun and got into a game of munchkin, he got struck by a Bullrog he couldn't defeet and someone passed him a card and a marker and well Kentucky Fried BullRog went into play. I belive the text was automaticly destroyies Bullrogs.

Yeah, anyone can come along. Tis just a bunch of gamers in a pub, really - but there's normally an attendance of about 30+. Tell you what, next Tuesday, the 25th, I'll be there with Munchkin and Star Munchkin and a few bits and bobs

I know that this will be played at dominicon, twas played last year and people play it during the year here.

I'm not too big a fan of it though (well ok when i did play I found it fun), I just got tired of it

tis one of the NUIM Games Soc's favourite card games

they've bought a few decks and have star munchkin and all :rolleyes:

The MIB (the Demo team for Steve Jackson Games) will be at Dominicon in force, in our own special events area, so much Munchkin and X-bugs and stuff will be there.

We are specially trained in teaching people games

So come one, come all, come frequently

The gaming group I'm in plays Munchkin with the following house rule only:

If you get away with it, it's legal.:p

I feel it stays true to the spoirit of the game. Custom cards are good fun, but hard to get away with (unless they're really funny...).
