Interesting mini history lesson but why is Ireland not treated as part of the left-right spectrum?

    Maybe an e-mail....

A few other errors on other maps like Ireland being defined as Prodestant on one and a monarchy on another.

    Mike.

Not quite, they aren't as far right as say the Conservative in the UK. FF has a definite 'populist' (worker?) side to it, FG would be considered more liberal than FF and so on.

As above, but primarily because they both spanned the centre. to a degree it was about personalities and style rather than pure political philosophy.

On those maps it is part of the UK.
