Seems pretty good from first impressions. It replaces BBC CHOICE. Only a part-time channel though airing from 7m - 4am.

Any Eastenders fans (with Sky and FTV card ;) ) will be able to watcch 2 episodes of it tomorrow, first one at 8pm on BBC1 and the other at 8.30 on BBC 3. BBC 3 will be one episode ahead of BBC 1 for a fortnight afaik.

Id like to buy it for re:covered alone. Great idea for a music programme (one ive had for years..oh well, no format fee :/ )

The rest of it seemed a bit pants, altho george dawes thing was worth a giggle. Johnny Vaughn needs to stick to breakfast tv

Will RTE show the extra episode?????

Also will 24 only be shown on BBC Three?????

Is BBC3 on sky here?I doubt it.
Unfortuneately the BBC believes only UK licence holders should access the extra digital channels like News 24,BBC3 etc. They had to be dragged kicking and screaming to finally let us watch BBC1 and 2 on sky.So there is little hope in the near future of BBC3 being on Irish skydigital. The only way you could do it is to get somebody with a Northern adress to ask for a free to view card from the BBC on your behalf. For more info scroll to the satellite forum down near the very bottom of the menu.

Yeah, the George Dawes pilot show was very funny. Pity the series won't be aired until the autumn! :(

What else can we look forward to on BBC3?

Burn It possibly will be rerun on BBC 2 maybe? Or UK Gold? It seems to be exclusive to BBC3 at the moment.

Swiss Toni and Burn It double-bill was on last night but I missed both! :(

I only saw the Dom Joly show thing, but if the rest of his shows were as good as that one it'd be worth getting SkyDigital (or whatever) for it alone :]

Best bit was when he showed the secret recordings of that Wayne Whatshisface... he wasn't impressed at all :D
