Does anyone know of a good webcrawler that can download webpages to read offline? , ie http://www.tomshardware.com/cpu/ In this example, from .../cpu/ onwards.

I use webreaper (www.webreaper.net) but I find the thing tends to download the whole site rather than start in a particular directory set as root. It comes with a filter to set up what to specify in downloads but it doesn't seem to work.

Any good alternatives to Webreaper that some of ye may be using?

wget... might do it. Webreaper tends to start striping from the root of a site rather than say a specified sub directory. Wget seems to offer more specific options. Cheers daveirl...
