I probably missed this in Q's posts, or others, but there's supposed to be a single-player, according to the readme and the menu... But obviously you can't play single player... Yet? You can play the mookie match or whatever it is with the bots, just start up a LAN game in that mode, thats about as single player as it gets I'm afraid.
