Does the online edition of the Irish Times have the weekly angling column on the site anywhere?

BTW Just finished The Longest Silence by Thomas McGuane..I'd guess it's the best Angling book I've read (more of a memoir but excellent)
He also wrote 92 degrees in the shade which I read years ago-it's about skiff fishermen in the Florida Keys

Great site, the Indo, spent ages reading it. Light and a good alternative to some of the heavy going on some forums.
I had a good midweek down in Co. Clare, spent two days by a lake. Tackling up, I took one of my best rods out of the holdall to find it with about five hairline cracks in the top section. I had a few other rods so it wasn`t too much of a problem, except that I shelled out about 150 bananas for it. Sunburn, nice heavy rain showers and the odd tench. A breath of fresh air, away from screaming kids and the city.

BTW, I take it that carbon rods can`t be repaired. I shouldn`t think so. I`ve emailed to a few rod building companies across the water when I got back.
i think I could get a new tip section?

I haven't come across anywhere that does, unfortunately, on a quick search..
been too busy to go fishing. maybe tomorrow up the road to the rocks in Howth..
