    http://bbs.pcstats.com/viahardware/
    http://www.viahardware.com

Anyone wishing to get more performance out of there via chipset should bookmark these links.

Also the latest 4-in-1 driver has been released.

I've managed to boost my fps from a ****ty drop of 38 at the worst to 60 now biggrin.gif

btw this is with v-sync enabled, it sits at 75 locked and won't drop below 60 (v-sync is soooo much smoother)

If I disable v-sync it has no problems sitting on 99 with the odd drop to 60 (extreme action on screen)

I used to run in 800x600, I now run at 1024x768.

The thing that cinched it for me was in fact finding a stable driver for my geforce 2mx.

It can be found at http://www.jetway.com.tw

From there use the scroll down menu to get your card, careful there are about 4 different geforce2mx's, mine is the w6000.

I then got a driver (detonator version 631)
It sorted out any problems I'd been having with lockups and the via agp driver installing in turbo mode, (after I changed the speed of my ram in chipset features to medium as opposed to fast/turbo) then disabled the agp master write/read options)

I also disabled video ram cacheable from the bios and added a little line to my sysedit (don't remember which file it is, config.sys etc.) but it can be found at http://www.geforcefaq.com

For me it was irq11=4096 I believe.

Next of all I downloaded two lil utilities from the downloads section on the viahardware page called, wpcredit and wpcrset.

In wpcrset I added the following values, 50-FF, 51-FF, B1-DA.

Btw the two utilities also work on various intel mobos and one or two others...so, in conclusion, Hop to it ya lazy gits biggrin.giftongue.gifwink.gifrolleyes.gif
