Browsing through the back page of the "Business This Week" section of todays Irish Times, I came across an article about Eircoms new Internet data hosting centre. Buried in the article is a quote from Alfie Kane:

"We're pretty confident the internet is here to stay...."

Is it just me or is that a strange statement to make?

well see what eircom might be thinking about while saying that is that big huge ass comet that is going to hit earth in the future.. sure there might still be a few servers running but its hardly still the internet.. good old alfie knows what hes on about smile.gif

either that or some halfwit cleaning lady will pull the plug on 'the internet' while she's looking for somewhere to plug in her hoover. you just never know whats around the corner

After watchin' the ad a couple times, the mouse isn't that bad... could go as far as to say that it's midly amusing tongue.gif

The only way that mouse would make me laugh is if he stood still and took two barrels of double-ought to the chest. Then I'd laugh my a55 off.
