    In the UK and Northern Ireland, flat-rate Internet access is typically available for £15 per month. In Ireland, if you spent 24/7 online for a month on Eircom's (or should I say Eircon's) so-called 'Go further for free' plan, you will end up with a phone bill well over £800. I had them confirm this to me on the phone.

    Even if you took advantage of all of their options packages, and their premium dialup service, you would still be looking at almost £400.

    Maybe it's just me, but I don't think that compares very well.
